“The success of the Fantastic Beasts franchise…”
Uh, the second movie tanked epically, and is considered to have killed off the entire Potter/Beasts franchise’s future, but okay.

Still, the location means no Hogwarts Express travel between USF & IOA’s Diagon Alley, so it’ll have to be a pretty darn POPULAR franchise to exist on its isolated own.

Yup, Fantastic Beasts ll didn’t have good reviews and was the lowest grossing WW film. Rowling forecasted a total of 5 in the series (#3 has been in production and supposed to be released this year) but the speculation is to wait until the smell from the last one dies down.
It makes the most sense for any new WW IP attractions to be constructed within the current parks. There’s enough general room (as well as vacant/closed attraction space) to accommodate the FB stuff and maintain WW Universe continuity.
