I’ve had kidney stones regularly since 1993. I found out long ago that a roller coaster ride or two at King’s Dominion would either move the stone to a more comfortable spot or help it to pass within a day or two. I just wish I could do it now, because I have a stone on my bladder right now!
I passed a kidney stone on vacation at WDW in 2017. Although it wasn’t Thunder Mountain that did it for me, it was Expedition Everest more over the combination of rides at AK. My back was hurting and hip, now I’ve had stones before so I know the drill. I completely ignored what I was feeling and passed if off as well I’m just out of shape. We stayed on property at Carribean Beach, day one we resort hopped and spent the rest of the day at Disney Springs, day two was Epcot, we all know that’s a lot of walking. Day two I felt the pain day three I almost couldn’t move but that Disney energy kept me going. We hit AK on day three going to Kilimanjaro Safari first, as you know it can be a bumpy ride. We walked the Gorilla Falls exploration trails and the Maharajah jungle trek before making our way to Expedition Everest. The line was short and we rode several times in a row, then headed off to Dinosaur, also a bit rough. Later that day the kids were hungry and wanted pizza… well Pizzafari it was. After that I headed for the restroom and that’s when it happened out came the stone and bit of blood to intensify the experience a bit. All that walking and and those rides worked the stone out. The next day I was fine and felt like a new man, the pain and soreness were gone.
“you’ll reportedly leave that stone behind with the rock work on the attraction“ So, they want people with kidney stones to pee on the ride? Coz that’s how they’re passed!

So, Disneyland should be able to reopen now, it is a medical necessity, right?
