This was a great idea. However, you will still pony up a huge amount of money for the privilege. Such as, over $2,000 for a two day cruise out of Seattle. The “little people” are shut out again.

Actually, you can get it for as little as $1000; however, I remember when they did a cruise to nowhere and my wife and I both sailed for under $500.

Of course, while I am not very paranoid about COVID, even I wouldn’t travel on a cruise ship until it has been proven safe given all of the problems the cruises that have been going have had.

Not long enough to make it worth while.

The article incorrectly states that all cruises are canceled through April. They have canceled cruises through March not April.

The article incorrectly stated DCL has canceled all cruises through April. They have only canceled cruises through the end of March. Please ensure that you are providing accurate information.

Although in their defense if you look up any cruise in April on the DCL website, they have removed all cruises in April. So although an official announcement hasn’t been made yet, I have a feeling it will be right around the corner. As for the Vancouver to Seattle and back Cruise, I’m not sure its going to be going. I live right on the US and Canadian boarder and there has been a loop hole that the locals all know about, that you can fly into Canada as of right now. Well it was announced last week they have decided that after 10+ months they are going to close that option. Many of us who live here and sometimes use that method to cross the boarder believe if they are going to trouble of closing that loophole, they are planning to keep the boarder closed for a longer period. Some rumors that are floating around include and entire 2021 closure. So as much as I wish the boarder would open and cruises to begin again, I’m not holding my breath for this cruise.
