Y’all need to stop getting info directly from Lucasfilm and trying to spoil everything about Bobba. Two judging by this article I can tell the prequel series is gonna be horrible. The “preppy leader lying to her team” and turning it into a teenage drama while in the middle of the war of the Empire.
Seriously.. I thought they learned not to oversaturate the brand.. mandalorian is the first great star wars thing they’ve done. Rogue one and solo were fun but still reeked of trying to cash in. And after Last jedi they lost all good will
Kinda “boo” on it being a prequel to a prequel/sequel TV show. The time lines are already unnecessarily confusing. I’ll still watch it, but I’d rather we keep moving forward with purpose than forward only to scrub backwards on an idea.
There’s no reason to give ahsoka tano or boba Fett or any of these other characters from the mandalorian their own show just go back in time on an episode and give them episodes of their own make the mandalorian the sickest show ever you’re just going to spread yourself thin and nobody’s going to watch it nothing’s going to stand up to the success of the mandalorian keep soaking the mandalorian with everything you got
Whaaaat a bunch of piss-whiny doomsayers. Everything Filoni has touched up to this point is gold, and people are very interested to see just what Ahsoka and Boba have been doing all these years. How did Boba get out of the sarlacc pitt? How did he retrieve Slave 1? How has the search for Ezra been going? Dozens of questions that could have interesting answers.
I wholeheartedly agree…Filoni has the intelligence and knowledge of canon, he pays attention to the details. He’s also a huge fan…he knows what he would like to see but I’ve never felt he was just fan servicing. I, for one, want to see these characters, see how it plays out. I do prefer sequels, but there’s a ton of back story that can be worked with.
How you gonna write an article about the Star Wars universe and then say Boba Fett went into the sarlacc pit in Episode 5: the empire strikes back?! Who fact checks this stuff?!
Why would you say Boba has very little chance of surviving Season 2 od the mandalorian? You mean we waited all these years to see him back in uniform, just to see him die again? And the Fett spin off is going to be a prequel with mo armor? Just stop it already
This^ it’d be mega stupid even on a merchandising level to do a prequel with Fett and NO ICONIC ARMOR FOR MERCHANDISE!! It’d also be mega stupid of filoni to green-light bringing boba back (a thing all fans have wanted since the EU was de-canonized) just to kill him off in the same season. These journalist dweebs act like you cant just send off a character without killing them lmfao!

It’s canon in Legends novels written YEARS ago.

The point is it happened in return of the Jedi

I want to see Filoni do a Plo Koon series. I know that’s his favorite character.

I’m a bit of a Star Wars nerd, but yeah, even most casual fans know it was Return of the Jedi, aka Episode VI.

Seriously. Some of these writers are questionable at best.
