Social distancing was not being observed and some people, despite desperate efforts by some Disney cast members, still wore their masks around their chin instead of up over their nose. I expected crowds but didn’t expect them to the level they were. Until I got to where I needed to get to I kept jumping into lines because it was the only place I felt that people were actually socially distancing. I left as quick as I could and the article is correct in the fact that I did not feel safe. I have seen much better crowd control at the parks but have not been there for the last 2 weeks. Shortly after I got in I heard they were turning crowds away as they were at capacity.
Take take put it in a park minus the try for social distancing and you get us daily at universal! I can not wait for off season and for this pandemic to be over! I know normal is a thing of the past but sanity would be nice! At least disney tries.
Everywhere at WDW has been packed since we arrived Dec10. Disney Springs, the parks, everywhere. We have been visiting WDW on the second weekend of Dec for about 10 years and there is no difference in the crowds from years past. Actually the park on weekdays have a lot more people just standing around or in lines crowding the walkways. Since there are a lot less things to do in the parks other then rides. No Character meeting, no shows, very few places to eat. So people are crowding the areas that are open. It might be at 35% capacity but normal attendance this time of year is historically around that.
Most people are going to Disney Springs because they cannot get an annual pass. Bring annual passes back and bring people to the parks under supervision.
Comments for Huge Crowds Continue to Flock to Disney Springs This Season

If your health is that fragile you’ve never had any business being at a Disney park EVER. We went, it was packed, and we’re fine.

People out shopping and eating a week and half before Christmas? Wow! Imagine that. (eye rolling)
