We were booked at Movies for 2 rooms and also received the email yesterday. I had already heard through blogs and had called WDW yesterday morning. The cast member offered us 2 rooms at Pop or a family suite at Art of Animation at same cost. We chose a Lion King Family Suite and the change was made. Quite pleased with it!
There is actually an error in this article. Disney’s All Star Music and All Star Sports remain closed. There is no date available as to when the two resorts will reopen. My son just got laid off from All Star Music, with no pending date of a possible recall. Our economy in central FL is completely thrown off. Our job market here mainly depends upon tourism. You have 28,000+ Disney cast members, Universal, Sea World, Legoland, Busch Gardens employees all vying for jobs that no longer exist. Even trying to apply for jobs to the likes of Walmart, Target, McDonalds, TGI Fridays, Circle K, local banks, doctor offices, the local hospitals, etc has 1 worker fighting over 1 job that 2 to 300+ people have also put in for. Praying this vaccine works and all our lives become safer again and our jobs return.
Once you stay at any other Disney Resort other than all stars, you will probably never stay at all stars again, realizing it is for school groups who are competing at ESPN events. Spend the money- choose a nicer resort, like Pop/Art or Port Orleans/Carribbean. You’ll have a much better time! (even if you aren’t in your room that much, it feels so nice to return there at the end of the day. Much more magical.)

Yes we got the same email. Was supposed to stay at All Star Movies early March. Hoping they put us up in Grand Floridian! Lol. A girl can dream.

Yes we had a reservation at All Star Movies at the end of Feb, but we received the email and we were able to move our hotel with no problems.
