You know, as fairly convicted fiscal conservative (and thereby registered republican), Iger running for president (on the dems ticket) would have been a VERY interesting look. He brings tremendous business experience and a great “bedside manner” that in many ways was missing from the trump administration. Healthy economy’s and across the board prosperity raise the quality of life of ALL people (reduction of violence, reduction of food shortages, and and and…) and a sober minded business perspective and leadership could have helped to bring that about. The problem with typical “politicians” is they tend to be fueled by their ideologies and political favors rather than educated or experienced backgrounds to make thoughtful leadership decisions. I think Iger would have had a better go at it than did Bloomberg. He missed his window I suppose.
