It’s not a huge discount. We have a reservation in the time period which is December 29 to January 5. I called the Disney representative to get some sort of discount. To get the discount, I have to cancel my reservation and have 2 reservations (1 for December and 1 for January). In December, we would have a downgraded room (versus our original reservation), and in January we would have to move from our room to another. Additionally, we would have to redo our park reservations which are filling up when we are going. So what would be our huge discount? $300. Would you change your existing reservation for $300 with all of that hassle? Be an informed consumer, ask questions.
