While this news was initially disappointing to those who want group shots, Disney PhotoPass has made some recent improvements that make it a more enticing investment than ever before. Today, the official PhotoPass Instagram account shared this update:

Along with a number of returning photo opportunities, #DisneyPhotoPass photographers at Walt Disney World Resort are also offering new enhancements, including:
? More photos captured during each encounter
? In addition to your photographer offering you a selection of available Magic Shots, we’ve also introduced a number of new Magic Shots
? After you capture photos at most of our Walt Disney World Resort locations, you’ll see a number of extras added to your account that relate to that photo spot. These extras include digital wallpapers and beautiful photos of the parks and Disney Characters that you can share on social media or add to your photobook or scrapbook. Stop by and capture photos with every photographer you see to collect them all!
What are some other fun PhotoPass opportunities?

All of these PhotoPass enhancements are excellent news for those who were concerned about paying for the service when news first broke that it would be nearly the only way to get photos of everyone in a Disney World vacation party.
