The Disneyland Ambassadors have been active on their official Instagram account throughout the closure of Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.

Yesterday, the team shared this post outside of the Indiana Jones Adventure ride:

The caption on the photo reads:

While the parks are closed, we still have the chance to come to the resort to visit with cast members and conduct our work. This week we launched ”Where in the 𝓛𝓪𝓷𝓭 are the Disney Ambassadors” to have a little fun with all of you tuning in from home. It took you no trouble at all to find us at the entrance of #IndianaJonesAdventure. Did you know that this patrol truck was used in the filming of ”Raiders of the Lost Ark”?! Join us next week in our story to find us somewhere in Disneyland.

As the temporary closure of Disney’s California theme parks continues, the Disneyland Ambassador program is doing its part to keep the magic alive.

From visiting essential Cast Members who are still working at Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park to launching social media initiatives like “Where in the Land are the Disney Ambassadors?,” the crew is keeping things as fun and lighthearted as possible while Disneyland fans wait for more news about the property’s eventual reopening.

In this recent post, the Disneyland Ambassadors introduced two essential Disneyland Cast Members, Denise Ann and Allie. If you want to regularly experience a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the Disneyland closure, make sure you follow the official @disneylandambassador Instagram profile!

The Ambassador program dates back to 1965, when Walt Disney himself named Julie Reihm the first Disneyland Ambassador. Disney’s official description of the program reads:

Disney Ambassadors serve as the Resort’s “Emissaries of Goodwill,” media representatives and as official hosts to Resort guests. As official spokespeople, Ambassadors offer the outside community a personal relationship with the Resort.

What do you think about the Disneyland Ambassadors on social media during the resort’s temporary closure?
