Weeks after officially reopening to its Disneyland theme park to the public, the Shanghai Disney Resort appears to be reopening its Toy Story Hotel as early as Monday, June 8.
Inside the Magic first heard the news from a Twitter user named @DLPReport who Tweeted “Shanghai Disney Resort’s Toy Story Hotel will reopen on Monday June 8.”

Upon further investigation, we found that it is now possible to make a reservation at the hotel beginning on June 8.
The resort also shares a message on its reservation page which says:
As a precautionary measure in line with prevention efforts taking place across China, please kindly note that to ensure the health and safety of every guest, and to comply with relevant legal requirements, when you arrive you will be asked to submit information about your travel record and health status, and if you are unable to submit such information or if you are not in a suitably healthy condition, you may be refused check-in.
However, there still has been no official announcement from Shanghai Disney Resort regarding this news.
The latest information on its website, which was updated on June 5, 2020, reads as follows:
Please note that at this time Shanghai Disneyland is currently open for visitation on an “Advanced Reservation” only basis, with enhanced health and safety measures and controlled capacity.
Tickets are available via the resort’s official online channels and official travel partners’ channels, with a limited number of tickets available each day. Guests are required to purchase dated admission tickets prior to their arrival, and Annual Pass holders must make a reservation for their visit date and time through the resort’s official online channels before their visit to the park.
Beginning 13:00, June 1, 2020, guests with General Admission tickets will be able to make a reservation to Shanghai Disneyland from June 3 through June 7.
