The closings of Disney Parks all over the world have certainly put a damper on our Park going plans. With Walt Disney World being shuttered for the time being, the formal Dapper Day outing on May 2nd has been canceled. But, if you’ve already planned a Designer Dapper Dress or Perfectly Pampered Pantsuit, never fear! Dapper Day is encouraging you to dress up in outfits and take plenty of pictures with the first Dapper Day At Home!

On Sunday, April 19th, step out of your bedroom in style to celebrate the first “Stay In, In Style!” event. Wherever you are, Dapper Day commands us to “Dress to impress” and feel a little fancy. When you snap your shots of your hair, clothes or accessories, post your look on Instagram with #DapperDayAtHome and tag @DapperDay so they can share your looks to their Instagram stories. There will be tons of retro eye candy to browse through while you sip your tea and quarantine scones.

As you know, we’d all been planning to ‘step out in style’ April 19 for our Spring Outing to Disneyland. With the park currently closed and our Expo moved to June 20+21, but many of us still itching to have fashionable fun this month, we’re turning April 19th into ‘DAPPER DAY at Home!’

On April 19, post your look with #DapperDayAtHome and tag @DapperDay so we can share our favorite Dapper Day photos to our Instagram stories. As always, our events celebrate fun, refined style from yesterday and today, and we look forward to seeing how you’re staying chic at home.

Upcoming Dapper Day Outings

Looking to Step Out In Style beyond your home? Events at the Disney Parks right now are tenuous at best, but this is the latest news from Dapper Day’s subscriber emails. You can also find this information on their website as to when the next in-person events will be taking place.

Disneyland Resort

The planned April 19th step out at Disneyland Resort has been canceled due to park closure and the Dapper Day Expo has been rescheduled for June 20th and 21st. All Disneyland hotel reservations have been canceled as well. Please stay tuned to the Dapper Day website for further information.

Walt Disney World Resort

The upcoming Dapper Day outings at Walt Disney World Resort have remained on the calendar for (May 2-3) but Dapper Day understands that with recent announcements, the outing may not happen due to continued closures. Hopefully, there will be an “encore,” as Dapper Day puts it, for the summer, but have not yet announced a dress-up date.

There is potential for the pop-up shops and rescheduled Luau at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort during the encore. If you’ve booked convention-rate WDW rooms for our early May events you do not need to do anything. If the resorts are to be closed over your scheduled stay, Disney will automatically refund you.

Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris is looking to be closed for the date of the Dapper Day May outing, so they will not be rescheduling a possible encore. This is because Dapper Day is looking to host a NON-DISNEY Park outing during Summer 2020, and will announce details when the situation in France is more clear. Dapper Day relays to its fans that if the Summer outing doesn’t happen this year, they are still planning to offer the fall Dapper Day at Disneyland Paris outing on Sat, Oct 10, 2020.
