Demure Details

‘Punzie’s shoes almost look like hand-painted sneakers. They have beautiful little details like golden-haired eyelets, lavender laces (instead of white laces) and an allover watercolor print. For our art-inclined Princess, this was a no-brainer decision. Find Flynn and Rapunzel’s mugs on the toes of each sneaker, drawn with painterly lines and bold colors. Originally $29.90, these shoes are on a quick sale for $20.93, so act fast… most sizes are still in stock! Hot Topic has more details on the shoe set:

Get out of your tower and follow your dreams! We found a pair of shoes that will be there each step of the way. From Disney’s Tangled, they have an allover purple and lavender watercolor print. The right toe features Eugene Fitzherbert (er.. we mean Flynn Rider) and the left toe features Rapunzel. The sides have “You were my new dream” text design with lanterns. Lavender laces, golden yellow eyelets and white outsoles.
The sides of each sneaker have the loving quote we hear from Flynn as he lays in Rapunzel’s arms, “You were my new dream.” Next to them, a symbol of Rapunzel’s hope and dreams, the floating lantern.

Custom hand-painted shoes have been a fad lately on Etsy, where you can commission all sorts of colors, patterns, and Disney Princess characters on a set of blank shoes like Vans or Toms. These no-waiting sneakers from Hot Topic are ready to go with no customization, so your feet will be off and running down the streets in search of your dream.
