A couple of grandparents have made their granddaughter’s dreams come true by commissioning the build of an incredible “Harry Potter“-themed Wendy house.

The fortress includes iconic locations from the beloved “Harry Potter” franchise, including the famed Hogwarts Castle, Ollivander’s wand shop, Platform 9¾ from Kings Cross Station, and perhaps a bit more left-field, part of Privet Drive, home of Harry Potter’s aunt and uncle, the Dursleys. 12 Grimmauld Place can also be seen in the structure.

There must be some kind of magic involved with the build as they’ve managed to fit the 350sqft “Harry Potter” fortress into the back garden! Dave and Ruby Dunlop built the two-story Wendy house for their eldest granddaughter who is just two years old. I don’t know about you, but we think she is going to have fun in this place for years to come.

The play area doesn’t just include some of the greatest locations from the franchise–it also comes equipped with a secret hatch, a broom swing set, and a wooden bridge leading to an owlery. We’d love to have one of these in our garden!

The main portion of the building, the tower, comes equipped with themed armchairs, a slide and a chandelier. The place is full of easter eggs referencing the books/movies and include:

  • A toy Basilisk
  • Fantastic Beasts trunk drawer
  • A broomstick
  • Hogwarts snow globe
  • Portraits of Dumbledore, Harry, Ron and Hermione
  • A map of the Hogwarts school grounds
  • A framed letter invitation to Hogwarts
  • A cupboard under the stairs

Here are a few more amazing photos of the house, some even when it was under construction!

While we aren’t sure on the exact cost of this Wendy house but customers pay the company behind these constructions anywhere between $15,000 to $250,000!
