It seems like the Disney Parks are full of amazing food lately, and we’re not complaining! Disneyland in particular has been releasing countless seasonal food offerings for the summertime that we can’t get enough of. We recently tried the new menu items at Mint Julep Bar in celebration of Haunted Mansion‘s 50th anniversary at Disneyland park. Here’s why they’re worth a try!

The Blackberry Midnight Julep has to be one of our favorite seasonal drinks of all time. We’re not kidding! Aside from being an extremely photogenic drink, the Blackberry Midnight Julep is extremely delicious and refreshing on those warm summer days in southern California. For the price of $4.49, the Blackberry Midnight Julep consists of blackberry, citrus, and mint flavors with a lychee fruit floating in the drink to look like an edible eye. It’s tasty and cool, and totally worth a try if you’re going to the parks this month.

Also at Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square, this month are the “Honey…I Do” Beignets! Disneyland has been releasing so many seasonal beignet flavors lately, but these have to be our favorite of the bunch. They are a traditional powdered sugar beignet with a delicious honey praline sauce. You can drizzle the sauce on the beignets like we did, but we’d recommend just dipping the beignets to avoid a mess. Still, these are hot, fluffy, and the perfect sweet treat anytime of day. They’ll cost you $5.49 for three beignets or $8.66 for six.

You can purchase both of these seasonal food items all August long at Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square at Disneyland. Remember that there is currently no annual passholder discount available for this dining location, but being so delicious, these treats are still worth the price.
