Universal Orlando Resort is making it easier for guests to order food on the go with the new Mobile Express Pick Up feature in the Universal Orlando Resort App.
Much like the Mobile Order feature in the My Disney Experience and Disneyland Resort apps, Universal Orlando’s mobile food ordering service allows guests to order food ahead of time and spend less time waiting in line. To place an order using the app, follow the steps below:
- Create an account in the Universal Orlando Resort App and set up a payment method
- Tap “Order Food and Drinks” under the app’s main menu
- Choose the restaurant where you’d like to place an order
- Browse the menu and add everything you want to your cart
- Confirm your order details and complete payment
Once your order is placed, you can take your time heading to the restaurant. When you’re ready to pick up your meal, simply tap “Prepare My Order” in the app. You can follow your order status within the app to know when your food is ready to be picked up, then just look for the “Mobile Express Pick Up” sign at the restaurant and enjoy your meal!
Currently, you cannot combine discounts with the mobile order feature. If you’d like to apply a Passholder discount or use a gift card or the Universal Dining Plan, you should visit a cashier rather than use Mobile Express Pick Up.
This new feature is currently available at Mel’s Drive-In, Richter’s Burger Co., The Burger Digs, and more. To find additional venues, look for the Mobile Express symbol in the app:
Mobile Express Pick Up is available during regular park hours. During Halloween Horror Nights, it’s available at Mel’s Drive-In and Richter’s Burger Co. To use the new feature, be sure to download the Universal Orlando Resort App for iPhone or Android.
