Starting October 16, the Walt Disney World website will feature a new online vacation planning tool with date-based tickets and personalized options to make the most of your trip.

The new vacation planning tool features park offering overviews to get you familiar with Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The site will also offer customized suggestions based on your personal preferences and provide travel tips from Disney Parks Moms Panelists.

One helpful new feature is the interactive online calendar, which quickly shows you the lowest priced days within a month. If your travel dates are flexible, you can use the tool to identify off-peak travel times with lower-priced park tickets. The calendar also displays prices based on the specific dates you’d like to travel.

Below, get a peek at the new Walt Disney World vacation planning tool in action.

Once tickets have been purchased, you can continue vacation planning with My Disney Experience, both on the website and with the mobile app. My Disney Experience guides you through the various steps of Disney vacation planning and allows you to see your plans on-the-go if needed.

“As our parks have increased in popularity, there are more and more guests who wish to experience our world-class attractions. Introducing date-based tickets and pricing will allow us to better distribute attendance throughout the year so that we can continue to improve and deliver a great experience,” says Disney.

There are plenty of exciting things in store for Walt Disney World next year, and your vacation planning will be easier than ever once these new features are introduced on the Walt Disney World website on October 16, 2018.

Of course, if you’d prefer to have help booking your dream Disney trip, vacation planners are also a good option. We recommend Academy Travel for your Walt Disney World vacation needs.
