After completing the largest renovation in its history last fall, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort is moving on to its next redesign project: a $3 million transformation of the Swan Resort lobby, public spaces, and coffee bar.
The updated Swan Resort spaces will incorporate the water theme of the redesigned guest rooms and the Dolphin Resort lobby. Upon entering the resort, guests will be surrounded by elegance thanks to the redesigned lobby, rotunda, front desk, lounging areas, and corridors. The update includes features such as lantern lights and sconces, palm leaf designs, and Bahama shutters. Java Bar, the resort’s coffee bar, will also get an updated look as part of the redesign.
Below, take a look at three renderings of what’s in store for the new lobby spaces at the Swan Resort.
This next redesign phase follows the $150-million, three-year renovation of all guest rooms and meeting spaces and transformation of the Dolphin Resort lobby. That project finished its final phase in Fall 2017.
The Swan Resort lobby updates will take place in phases so the resort can remain open to guests throughout the renovation. This project should be complete by the end of 2018.
