Lumos! The dazzling projection show “The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle” has returned to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood for the busy summer season, and this year the popular display features a few radiant new fireworks during each performance over Hogsmeade Village.

“This summer we’re proud to introduce a pyrotechnic moment into ‘The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle,’ making the show brighter than ever,” said Universal Studios Hollywood’s Senior Director of Entertainment Production Stephen Siercks. I paid a visit to the park this week to see one of the first shows of the summer, and it certainly proved a spectacle worthy of even the most spellbound Potterheads in Southern California.
