The eclectic art space Gallery Nucleus has been open since 2004 and describes itself as “a welcoming gathering place for the art loving community” in Southern California. I had recently visited the gallery for the officially-licensed Disney Television Animation art show this past winter, and I made a point to stop by again when I heard about the new “Incredibles 2 – A Tribute Exhibition,” tied in with the release of the highly-anticipated upcoming sequel from Disney/Pixar.

“Incredibles 2 – A Tribute Exhibition” includes a wide variety of drawings, paintings, and even inventive fashion designs inspired by the movie and the world of “The Incredibles.” All the most popular characters from Pixar’s superhero universe are represented here: Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Violet, Dash, Jack-Jack, Frozone, and of course that irascible fashionista Edna Mode. Once again, I was impressed by the quality and aesthetic diversity of the artwork on display.
