A lively green dinosaur donning a tutu and sparkling necklace entertains the crowd on stage, illuminated by vibrant lights against the night sky, bringing the splashy excitement of Disney H2O Glow Nights at Typhoon Lagoon to life.

Disney H20 Glow Nights is a brand new colorful nighttime pool party to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, which offers a DJ-hosted dance party with Partysaurus Rex, in addition to meet and greets and other experiences with everyone’s favorite “Toy Story” pals.

Part of Walt Disney World’s Incredible Summer, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is now offering this new nighttime event that not only lets guests enjoy the park’s thrilling water attractions at night, but also a bunch of other exclusive and splash-tactic celebrations.

For only $55, guests to the event can hang out with Rex and his “Toy Story” pals who transform Typhoon Lagoon into a fun-filled summer celebration. Rex, a.k.a. Partysaurus Rex, can be found in the surf pool at his very own glow party.

Guests who take part in the glow party not only get to dance the night away with current and awesome music, but this is also where visitors can take part in fun games as well. This area of the park really shines bright as it features an actual DJ booth, flashing club lights and other dance party-themed decorations.

A vibrant dragon float emerges through swirling fog and dazzling lights at Disney H2O Glow Nights in Typhoon Lagoon, creating a thrilling party atmosphere with glowing trees enhancing the nighttime magic.

Kids splash and play on the sandy shore under vibrant lighting at Typhoon Lagoon, while nearby adults watch over the fun—capturing the excitement of Disney H2O Glow Nights’ after-dark beach party atmosphere.

At different locations throughout the park guests can enjoy fun meet and greets with their friends from Disney’s “Toy Story” films. This includes Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear.

Woody and Jessie pair up for their special meet and greet and can be seen posing with the famous Luxo Ball found in many famous Pixar films, including “Toy Story.”

Woody and Jessie from Toy Story welcome a guest inside a whimsically themed space with wooden walls and playful decor, bringing the energetic atmosphere of Disney H2O Glow Nights at Typhoon Lagoon to an indoor setting—even if the nighttime water fun stays outside!.

Buzz can be found posing solo with Zurg and Space Ranger-themed surfboards.

And for parents and other adults visiting the event, The Wharf is a special area set up just for you! The special adults-only area features a private bar with special entertainment and seating.

Guests gather at the Typhoon Lagoon bar during Disney H2O Glow Nights, one showing off their pool-ready look and others enjoying the blue-lit, vibrant party atmosphere that makes this nighttime event unforgettable.

Another exclusive part of the event is special rafts that can be found in the Castaway Creek lazy river. Some of these special rafts included are a duck, dragon and a parrot!

Guests drift along Typhoon Lagoon’s lazy river on whimsical animal-shaped floats, basking in the sun and soaking in the park’s laid-back tropical vibes.

Guests relax on glowing inflatable tubes as they drift along the lazy river at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon during H2O Glow Nights, surrounded by lush tropical greenery and illuminated by colorful nighttime lights.

Besides these special offerings, another exciting part of attending Disney H20 Glow Nights is the extremely short wait times for all of the park’s attractions. At last night’s event, wait times were only at 5 minutes for Miss Adventure Falls and Crush ‘n’ Gusher, two of the parks most popular water rides.

Speaking as someone who has experienced this event first-hand, I can honestly say this specially ticketed event is worth it. The event may only be 3 hours, but due to the event’s extremely short wait times you can experience almost every attraction in the park in about an hour.

For someone who hasn’t visited Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon yet, this may be your best option as, for the most part, you are almost guaranteed to ride each attraction in a shorter period of time than you would on a traditional daytime visit.

The special food offerings are also delicious and the meet and greets and dance party also help make the event feel more like a celebration than a visit to a water park.

Disney H2O Glow Nights kicked off its first event last night and will continue to run every Thursday and Saturday from June 21 to August 11, 2018. The event takes place each night from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, although guests with event tickets may arrive beginning at 7:00 PM.
