Get ready for a tasty afternoon! Two of Disney Springs‘ most popular eateries, Morimoto Asia and The Polite Pig, are set to host a one-day only, ticketed event that will offer guests a smorgasbord of flavors from Asia and the American South.
“Pigs + Pints” will feature a mouth-watering menu from the culinary masters of both venues, Chefs Yuhi Fajinaga, James Petrakis and Julie Petrakis. A wide variety of family-friendly dishes will be served up, while guests ages 21 and older will also be able to enjoy a selection of craft beers from local breweries.
The impressive menu for the event will include Pork cheek tamales, Dim Sum Dogs (gyoza sausage with fried bao bun), Florida peach glazed pork belly satay with spicy peanut sauce, Pork Skirt Steak Yakiniku Tacos and house-cured charcuterie to be served on the second floor of Morimoto Asia. Meanwhile, on the upstairs patio overlooking Disney Springs, a whole roasted pig will be sliced and served up to guests.
Guests will also have the chance to meet the farmers from Frog Song Organics and Palmetto Creek Farms as well as representatives from local breweries including Cask & Larder, Coppertail, Crooked Can Brewing Co., Red Cypress and Red Light Red Light.
