It’s time to get ready to return to a Galaxy Far, Far, Away once again. This coming Friday is May the 4th… as in May the 4th Be With You, also known as Star Wars Day. And the original Disneyland in Anaheim, California is celebrating in a big way, with several new and returning Star Wars-themed shows, meet-and-greets, and attractions.

This morning Disneyland Resort also announced a special presentation entitled “Star Wars: Then & Now,” to be hosted by Lucasfilm Story Group member and creative executive Matt Martin. The show is described as an hour-long discussion covering the forty-plus-year-history of the Star Wars franchise.

Matt Martin’s official biography on the official Star Wars website is as follows:

Matt is a huge Star Wars fan who gets paid to do Star Warsy things on the Internet as Lucasfilm’s manager of digital content and community relations. He has a degree in visual communications (whatever that is) and started a teeny tiny record label when he was in high school which he still runs… when he has time. He played Greedo in a video once and now wavers on the subject of who shot first.

The “Star Wars: Then & Now” presentation takes place from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM this Friday, May the 4th in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel’s Sequoia Ballroom. The event is open to Disneyland Resort hotel guest registration now, and to the general public beginning Friday morning at an admission price of $30 per person.
