In the past, Disney has teamed with the luxury brand Coach to create the light, fun and magical merchandise we’re used to seeing. This time around, their collaboration focuses a bit more on the dark side of Disney’s stories.
Coach has announced their new “Disney x Coach: A Dark Fairy Tale” collection and given a sneak peek at some of the products they will offer based on Disney’s “Sleeping Beauty” and “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”
The new collection includes bags, wallets, jackets, dresses, sneakers and more.
“I have always loved Disney – both the movies and the fantasy worlds created that have captured my imagination for many decades.” said Creative Director Stuart Vevers. “It was fun to explore the darker side of these stories and mix Disney’s nostalgic charm with Coach’s creativity to bring my memories from these fairy tales to life within our world of accessories and ready-to-wear. The Disney spirit truly reinforces the new youthful perspective we are bringing to luxury at Coach.”
The new “Disney x Coach: A Dark Fairy Tale” collection will be available in stores and online at Coach.com on May 14. Some stores will even offer a dark castle experience for customer.
