What a crock of barnyard leavings.
We pay enough for the damn hotel, why double charge the people who love to come and stay with you?
Every visit I have made to WDW since 1989 I have stayed on property.
I may still but my love for you has decreased

I paid $35 a night to park at Aulani for a $400 a night room. Nothing is free at Disney.

I don’t think it’s comparing apples to apples comparing Disneyland or Aulani to WDW. WDW is 40 square miles of land area. There is not a premium for parking space like in DL or Aulani. The fact that this resort previously advertised one of their perks as free parking, and then all of a sudden decides to charge just because they can is a slap in the face to long-time resort guests.

Done with WDW. Operationally lesser in every way. Nickel and diming everywhere you look. Old memories of Classic Disney are better than new experiences of greedy, lazy, Lesser Disney.

    1. Fool! Its great to pay ridcilous prices ! I should know im the former president of Disney! Give us more money yay !!!!!!!

They have to keep sticking it to us, huh? There’s absolutely no reason to start charging for parking at the hotels. What a freaking money grab! Very angry about this. We are going in May and already made our reservations so this won’t apply to this trip, at least.

After our June trip all my future ones will be sort of off site. I priced out the Swan/Dolphin today and I figured a can stay at a nice hotel and save about 3 to 4K per trip. Good move Disney

Is ESPN really costing you that much that you have to do this.
Kennith is right, stay off grounds. There are a lot of great houses to rent real close by and for the price of a “value resort”

Well decision made not to go back any time soon. Shame on you Disney for hurting the families just trying to save some money by driving. Is this the Vision Walt had when he wanted to create a place for families to come and create wonderful memories? Greedy, despicable money grab move.

Once again we get screwed. Well I don’t think we will stay on grounds anymore. Better deals outside the wdw compound. Bonnet creek for one! They are nickel and diming people… first valet, then tickets, then dining (really who wants to pay $20 for chicken tenders?) and now parking. Unreal.

What about annual pasholders? Will they also be charged? I see dvc is not going to be

Ridiculous. Pay your employees more than. This place is getting classist and inaccessible to many families.

What next charging for bus/monrail transportation??

My guess is Fast Passes. First you’ll be able to pay a premium to be able to make reservations earlier than other resort guests. Then they’ll trickle it down to everyone.

I have yet to stay on property but even I think this is greedy. Disney resorts already cost an arm and a leg and now a daily parking fee? I think it is ridiculous even when non-Disney hotels charge for parking but what Disney charges to stay at one of their hotels should already have parking included in the price right?
