What was inspired by the lyrics and lifestyle of singer, songwriter and best-selling author Jimmy Buffett, Margaritaville Resort Orlando is planned to be a one-of-a-kind vacation escape. This tropical get-away will not only offer stunning resort vacation homes, cottages, villas, and timeshare units but it will also offer guests an array of exciting amenities and entertainment offerings.
Currently, the resort is still under construction and is estimated to be opening in phases, beginning in November 2018. But, ITM got a sneak peek at some of the resort’s vacation cottages. At Margaritaville Resort Orlando’s construction completion, the resort will feature a total of 1,000 cottages.

As you walk through these cottages the feeling of paradise radiates around you with sleek, tropically inspired designs accompanied by subtle maritime accents, natural rock and wood materials, and colorful accessories.
The properties feature carefree casual-luxe style, with luxurious all-white linens, teak-finished furnishings, spacious walk-in showers and more. Caribbean-style siding, and exclusive furniture packages in partnership with iconic furniture company, Ethan Allen are also a part of the cottage’s many interior offerings.
If you’re not already sold on theses luxurious cottages with their stunning interiors and exteriors, then you haven’t seen some of the many entertainment offerings and amenities the resort features.

The 12-acre waterpark is currently still in the design phase, but new information about the coming park reveals that it will be heavily influenced by social media.
“We are looking at interactive technology where you can use your social media and provide your friends, who are not there with you, the same experience as if they were there,” said Jim Bagley, Project Developer, Margaritaville Resort Orlando.
Bagley said this social integration will be on a real-time basis and will be integrated directly into the physical attractions. Specific details of this social integration are still not known.
