Besides being a beautiful area of Southern California, the Orange County city of San Juan Capistrano– about thirty miles south of Disneyland in Anaheim– is known for its cliff swallows, which return each March during migration. To mark the occasion, the town celebrates Swallows Day every year, complete with a festive parade and other joyful events.

Last weekend, in commemoration of the Swallows Day Parade’s 60th anniversary, Disney sent its Circle D Ranch horses named Brother and Chief (alongside Disneyland Resort Ambassador Alexa Garcia and Tokyo Disney Resort Ambassador Nozomi Fukumoto) to join the procession down Camino Capistrano and past Mission San Juan Capistrano.
