Are you a LEGO Maniac between the ages of 5 and 12? Then you will probably want to enter the Royal Model Competition in celebration of the new LEGOLAND Castle Hotel at LEGOLAND California Resort in Carlsbad, California.
Prizes for this competition include a one-night stay at the LEGOLAND Castle Hotel, four 2-day admission tickets to LEGOLAND California Resort, a LEGO gift basket, a one-hour session with a LEGO Master Model Builder, and the opportunity to have your design on display inside the actual Castle Hotel itself.
The Royal Model Competition contest started today and runs through May 13th. Participants must submit a Castle-themed photo, drawing, or digital rendering of their own LEGO-built creation. Examples of potential inclusions are knights, wizards, dragons, princesses, jesters, and “anything you might see in a Royal Kingdom.”
The design must be capable of being constructed as a LEGO model of no bigger than three cubic feet. Entrants must also provide a written tale conveying why their design should be included in the displays at LEGOLAND Castle Hotel.
