The King of Wakanda has arrived! With today’s grand opening of Marvel Studios’ new movie “Black Panther” in theaters nationwide, it’s only appropriate that its protagonist T’Challa has made his way to Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California for a character meet-and-greet with his Dora Milaje warrior guards.
The Avengers jeep transports Black Panther through the streets of Disney California Adventure‘s Hollywood Land area, flanked by the Dora Milaje, until they arrive at Stage 17 (former home of Olaf’s Snow Fest and other attractions) where the meet-and greet is hosted.
WATCH T’CHALLA AND DORA MILAJE ARRIVE AT DISNEYLAND RESORT:
Inside Stage 17, guests will find a display Wakandan artifacts from “Black Panther,” immediately before they are welcomed by the Dora Milaje and T’Challa himself. Marvel fans will be thrilled to interact, speak, and have their photos taken with Black Panther before returning to enjoying the rest of their day at Disney California Adventure.

Since I experienced quite a long wait this morning/afternoon (nearly three hours), I would definitely recommend getting in line very early if the “Black Panther” meet-and-greet is a priority during your visit to Disneyland Resort.
Black Panther currently meets from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Hollywood Land’s Stage 17 at Disney California Adventure.
