Embrace the Dark Side of the force and join the First Order at runDisney’s 2018 Star Wars Half Marathon – The Dark Side at Walt Disney World.
This out-of-this-world weekend event features three Star Wars-themed races, fun kids races, a two-race challenge and, of course, some very impressive race medals.
Finishers of the Star Wars Dark Side 5k on Friday, April 20, will receive a medal based on an Executioner Stormtrooper.
If you prove yourself elite enough to finish the Star Wars Dark Side 10k on Saturday, April 21, you’ll earn yourself an Elite Praetorian Guard medal.
If you are truly worthy of joining the ranks of the greatest warriors of the First Order and can finish the Star Wars Dark Side Half Marathon on Sunday, April 22, you will receive this Captain Phasma medal.
Those brave enough to take the First Order Challenge, which entails finishing both the Star Wars Dark Side 10k and Half Marathon, will be graced by the Supreme Leader himself, Kylo Ren.
Runners who challenge themselves on their own home planets and complete the Star Wars Virtual Half Marathon will pledge their allegiance to the Resistance and be given a Poe Dameron medal.
Those who complete the Kessel Run Challenge, finishing both the Star Wars Dark Side Half Marathon and the Star Wars Virtual Half Marathon, will earn this Millennium Falcon medal.
And of course, younglings ready to pledge themselves to the First Order can complete the Kids Races on Saturday, April 21, and earn this BB-9E medal.
