Bringing home commemorative swag is one way to keep the Disney magic going long after your vacation, and today Disney unveiled some of the new merchandise for 2018.

For the Disney Parks 2018 collection, the merchandise team chose a “handcrafted, tonal look with nods to the rich heritage of The Walt Disney Company.” The collection, which was almost two years in the making, includes an assortment of collectible pins, toys, headwear, and accessories. Characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, and Goofy often appear on the merchandise in creative ways.

To tie the collection together, Disney artists used the number 8 in “2018” to incorporate repeating circles filled with sketches of Disney landmarks, icons, and attractions.

“We interjected some playfulness into the designs by using iconic items from Disney Parks such as Chip and Dale hiding under an oversized Mickey Mouse ear hat. It became a plush figure and a holiday ornament,” said Dan Howard, senior creative director with Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media Creative Group.
