Since the two brands joined forces nearly twenty years ago, Star Wars and LEGO have gone hand in hand. It’s always cool to see what crafty Star Wars creations the LEGO Master Builders have come up with for displays at LEGO Stores worldwide, the eight LEGOLAND locations around the globe, and every once in a while even at Disney theme parks.

This week Disneyland in Anaheim, California unveiled two life-size LEGO characters straight out of the latest Lucasfilm feature “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”: Rey (played by Daisy Ridley in the movie) and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), both in their costumes from the planet Ahch-To in the much-talked-about film.

As you’ll see in the above video, Luke is even sporting his trademark mechanical hand (sans synthetic skin) that he received after that fateful lightsaber battle with his father Darth Vader in “The Empire Strikes Back.”

A LEGO spaceship zooms ahead against a pixelated beige and brown backdrop evoking The Last Jedi, capturing the thrill of Star Wars experiences found at entertainment destinations like Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge.

Star Wars Launch Bay is open daily at Disneyland until 8:00 PM. “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is still playing in theaters nationwide.
