In honor of the tradition of Latin cultures, SeaWorld Orlando is inviting guests to their Three Kings Celebration from January 1 – 6.

The Three Kings Celebration is traditionally the holiday that marks the biblical adoration of baby Jesus by the three Kings. This holiday is celebrated in many parts of the world and marks the day on the Christian calendar when the Magi brought gifts to baby Jesus. Many Hispanic communities in the U.S. celebrate Three Kings Day with various traditions, including parades and performances. SeaWorld Orlando is joining in on these festivities with their own special celebrations for park guests.

Part of their festivities include a Three Kings Processional, where guests can follow the Three Wise Men to a live nativity scene that depicts the arrival of the Three Kings. The procession includes a storyteller and live animals.

The scene can be very moving and shines a light on an age-old holiday in an engaging and respectful presentation. The processional takes place several times throughout the day and also offers a photo opportunity for park guests.

This event also includes delicious festive foods and drinks that were inspired by the Latin holiday. The foods, which are exclusive to this holiday event, include miniature papas rellenas (fried stuffed potatoes), empanadas (cheese, chicken or beef), bacalaitos (codfish fritters) and authentic Puerto Rican quesitos. Some drink offerings include coquito and frozen sangria.

The event also offers Puerto Rican holiday dishes at SeaWorld’s Shark Underwater Grill. Some of these offerings include roasted pork with onion mojo arroz con gandules, pasteles and fried tostones garnished with mayoquetchup. The restaurant also offers a special holiday dessert as well: homemade vanilla and cheese flan drizzled with caramel.

To continue with the celebration of the holidays, SeaWorld has extended some of their Christmas celebrations for this special event. So if you didn’t get a chance to make it over to SeaWorld Orlando this holiday season to see all of their stunning Christmas decorations and moving shows, you’re in luck!

Guests still have the chance to hear the greatest story ever told at SeaWorld’s O Wondrous Night show. It features 30 carols, life-size puppets and live animals. This captivating production will keep guests in the holiday mood with all of its singing, special effects, and stunning lighting.

Guests can also still be amazed by all of SeaWorld’s dazzling and bright Christmas decorations, which remain on display at the park. This includes the Sea of Trees, where guests can be immersed in dazzling holiday trees. The Sea of Trees features over 100 trees that sparkle and shine. The display also includes a special show, where the trees light up and dance to holiday classics.
