Over five years ago, the original Disney animated feature “Wreck-It Ralph” surprised audiences with its wry humor, daring sense of adventure, and sweet emotional center. And now the countdown continues to the upcoming sequel “Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2.”
Today via its official Twitter feeds, Disney released a new piece of concept art for the second movie, featuring Vanellope von Schweetz (voiced by Sarah Silverman) and Wreck-It Ralph himself (John C. Reilly) venturing into the World Wide Web, complete with user avatars, pop-up ads, and layer upon layer of eye-catching details.

Disney’s official synopsis of “Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2” is as follows:
“Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2” leaves Litwak’s video arcade behind, venturing into the uncharted, expansive and thrilling world of the internet– which may or may not survive Ralph’s wrecking. Video game bad guy Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) must risk it all by traveling to the world wide web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, Sugar Rush. In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet– the netizens– to help navigate their way, including a website entrepreneur named Yesss (voice of Taraji P. Henson), who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site “BuzzzTube.”
With the level of complexity on display here, and the near-limitless possibilities inherent in the movie’s setting, chances are “Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2” will contain more Easter Eggs and hidden references per minute than any animated Disney film that has come before.
“Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2” logs in to theaters on November 21 of this year.
