Disneyland was nearing capacity today as guests typically flock to the park to celebrate the holiday season in the week between Christmas and New Years.
Unfortunately for those guests, a power outage has disrupted the attractions in the Toontown and Fantasyland areas of the park and they have been escorted off of them leaving the streets flooded with the crowds.

According to social media posts from guests, the power outage began around 10:30 AM PST. Guests were stuck on It’s a Small World with no lights and no music.

A park spokesperson issued a statement explaining the source of the problem.
“We’ve determined that the issue is with a Disneyland Resort transformer and our team is currently assessing and working to restore power,” the statement read.
Officials have not provided details on estimated restoration time. Disney California Adventure and other areas of Disneyland are still operating normally.
