For Day 2 of 12 Days of Disney Parks Christmas, we get a first look at the exciting new changes coming to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort in the summer.

Old Port Royale gets reimagined as a port of entry where guests check in before embarking on an island vacation. The centralized location offers more convenient access to amenities, services, and dining options, including the all-new Centertown Market for casual eats. An all-new Shutters restaurant offers waterfront dining adjacent to the new Banana Cabana outdoor bar and lounge, while Calypso Trading Post is a retail hotspot.

Caribbean Beach Resort’s entrance at Walt Disney World welcomes guests with its signature red roof, swaying palm trees, and lively foot traffic, as a Disney transport bus waits nearby on a sunlit day—showcasing the resort’s refreshed vibe and excitement for visiting fans.

Centertown Market is being expanded and enclosed to create a quick-service restaurant with an indoor street market vibe. Guests enter under a large palapa-like structure, which is accented with glowing colored light pendants created from glass bottles. Open shutters, wooden light posts, awnings, ornamentation and unique seating areas add to the airy open market decor. Guests also have access to the Grab n’ Go market for quick bites and coffee.

Shutters, a table-service restaurant inspired by the Caribbean, is located on the waterfront of Old Port Royale. Large open shutters allow the sun to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere in a space filled with handmade items that look like they came straight from the islands. Leaves and floral designs highlight the natural beauty of the Caribbean.

Banana Cabana is a festive poolside bar. A great place to gather for food and drinks, the lounge immerses guests in the fun and relaxing island life. Seating areas are surrounded by Cabana-style drapes and re-purposed steel drums are highlighted at a central communal table made from a wooden boat.

Over at Calypso Trading Post, guests can pick up Disney merchandise and plenty of vacation essentials.
