Disney announces new “Moana” character experiences for Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa

Disney has an exciting announcement for “Moana” fans as part of their 12 Days of Disney Parks Christmas: guests at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa can now visit with the character during a new premium experience.

During Kakamora Chaos with Moana, a 90-minute experience at Aunty’s Beach House, young guests learn to play children’s games from Hawai’i. One of the games, called the Kakamora Relay, comes from Moana’s home island of Motunui.

Guests can also visit with Moana and Aulani Resort’s beloved storyteller “Uncle” as they detail the importance of the canoe, or “wa’a,” during Kahakai Canoe Racing. The interactive activity includes building a canoe and racing in the lagoon.

Guests gather around a glowing bonfire beneath swaying palm trees and a deep blue night sky at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, capturing the magical, adventurous spirit inspired by Moana.

In the evenings, guests can gather around the fire pit to hear Moana and Uncle tell tales of adventure during Mo’olelo Firepit Storytelling. Moana also delights those attending KA WA‘A – A Lū‘au, where she makes a special pre-show appearance to pay homage to the incredible journey Hawaiian people made across the ocean.
