After co-starring in “Murder on the Orient Express,” Disney stars Daisy Ridley and Josh Gad are teaming up for another movie project.
Titled Super-Normal, the film is described by Variety as a story that subverts the superhero genre. Gad will star in the project along with Ridley and his “Beauty and the Beast” co-star Luke Evans. Aaron and Jordan Kandell, who worked on the script for Disney’s “Moana,” will co-write the movie based on Gad’s story idea. Luke Evans serves as executive producer.
It’s already pretty clear that Gad and Ridley have great chemistry. On the set of “Murder on the Orient Express,” Gad posted a few fun Instagram videos of his attempts to get Daisy Ridley to spill some “Star Wars” secrets. Take a look at one of those failed attempts in the video below.
Daisy Ridley can next be seen as Rey in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” which arrives in theaters on December 15.
Josh Gad returns to the world of “Frozen” in “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure,” screening before Disney-Pixar’s “Coco” starting on November 22. “Frozen 2” hits theaters on November 27, 2019.
There’s no word on when “Super-Normal” debuts on Netflix, but we’re looking forward to more from the Ridley/Gad duo.
