“Twin Peaks”-inspired Double R Diner pop-up brings signature coffee and pie to Los Angeles

Twin Peaks fans in Los Angeles have the chance to enjoy some damn fine coffee and cherry pie at a Double R Diner pop-up.

As viewers know, the Double R is the place to go for delicious baked goods and a strong cup of coffee. The diner was a favorite of Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan), and now Showtime is bringing it to Los Angeles for a limited time. From October 16 – 22, guests can stop by for food and merchandise and take a look at costumes, props, and collectibles from the series.

Just in time for Halloween, the pop-up is also selling authorized costumes inspired by the show. Prices range from $10 for smaller items to $350 for a full costume.

The RR Cafe, styled like the beloved Double R Diner from Twin Peaks, features classic red and white accents, gleaming retro windows, and a nostalgic neon sign—an immersive stop for fans exploring a themed Twin Peaks experience.

Flo and Shelly, iconic Twin Peaks characters, strike a pose in their classic blue diner uniform and bold leopard print jacket inside a retro-themed LA eatery. Above them, skateboards add to the restaurant’s quirky Hollywood atmosphere—blending TV nostalgia with SoCal skate culture.

Three themed macaron boxes, including one with a “Twin Peaks” label that channels the enigmatic vibe of the Double R Diner, set a scene reminiscent of an immersive Showtime attraction, with marquee-style text: “Los Angeles 10.16.17 SHOWTIME.”.

Showtime previously opened a Double R Diner pop-up for South by Southwest, where visitors could snag Twin Peaks-themed Voodoo Doughnuts.

The Los Angeles shop, located at 7505 Melrose Avenue, is open from noon – 8:00 PM daily.
