Puss in Boots, silhouetted with his signature feathered hat and sword, stands boldly against a glowing orange backdrop, capturing the thrilling spirit of Disneyland’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark adventure.

Disneyland Resort‘s first E-Ticket Marvel-themed attraction Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! is still less than six months old, and guests are already being treated to an alternate holiday version of the ride for Halloween Time at Disney California Adventure.

Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark takes place immediately after the story of the usual ride– the Guardians have broken out of the Collector’s Fortress, thanks to the help of the hyper-intelligent but snarky Rocket Raccoon. Unfortunately, they forgot one thing when they left: Baby Groot. So Rocket must hack back into the Collector’s tour system, and he needs your help! The one thing he isn’t quite prepared for, however, is that all of the living exhibits are now running loose.
