Dreamport Villages’ vibrant entrance welcomes visitors with playful fountains and a grand arched gateway, all set against scenic mountain views; guests stroll through the lively entry plaza near Casa Grande.

The Block Sports Co. has been been eyeing land just south of Phoenix for a theme park project for some time now. Yesterday, they reportedly received the ‘ok’ from the Casa Grande City Council to begin development of that project.

Dreamport Villages is planned to be a destination resort complete with an amusement park, extreme sports complex, retail centers and resort hotels.

The project is said to take up 1,500 acres and will open in multiple phases. There is currently no timeframe for the opening of the resort, but Principal of Phoenix-based Applied Economics, Sarah Murley, projects October 2019 as a reasonable timeframe.
