It’s hard to believe, but 2017 is already half gone. That means it’s time to start making plans for New Year’s Eve! Disney wants to help you with that as they’ve unveiled three great celebrations to ring in the new year at Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World.
“Disney Countdown to Midnight” will be a lively party filled with great food and music. A live band and a DJ will keep the party pumping till midnight, when you can toast to the new year with a flute of champagne and a viewing of the Magic Kingdom’s New Year’s Eve fireworks.
This party will be held in the Fantasia Ballroom from 8 P.M. to 1 A.M. and will only be open to guests 18 and older.

For younger guests, “Pixar Party: A New Years Eve Celebration” will be the perfect way to close out 2017. This party will have all kinds of fun for kids, including face painting, a balloon artist, boot camp with Sarge and of course characters and immersive sets from your favorite Pixar movies like “Toy Story” and “Cars.” A buffet style dinner will be served and a DJ will be playing all the hits from Radio Disney before a private viewing of the fireworks.
This playful party will be held in the Ballroom of the Americas from 8 P.M. to 12:15 A.M.

Finally, no holiday experience would be complete without a fine dining option. “Down in New Orleans: A Disney New Year’s Eve Dining Experience,” inspired by Disney’s animated film “The Princess and the Frog,” will transport you to the Big Easy.
A beautifully decorated French Quarter theme will transform the Grand Republic Ballroom. A New Orleans Jazz band will play as guests enjoy decadent dishes like herb-crusted Louisiana redfish, braised short ribs and much more. Then of course, you’ll slip outside for a private fireworks viewing and a glass of champagne.
This fine dining experience will be held from 7 P.M. to 12:15 A.M.
Reservation for all of these experiences will be available July 11. How will you be spending your New Year’s Eve?
