Zip line from the Eiffel Tower in “Le Smash Perrier,” a limited-time thrill ride for adventurous tourists

See Paris from new heights this weekend with a new thrill ride from Perrier. To celebrate the French Open tennis tournament taking place in the city this week, the beverage company has set up a thrilling zip line between the Eiffel Tower and École Militaire across the Champ de Mars.

Dubbed Le Smash Perrier, the ride allows adventure-seekers to board the zip line on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower, about 375 feet from the ground. Riders go soaring over the Champ de Mars at speeds of up to 55mph before reaching a platform at École Militaire. The ride is meant to mimic what happens to a tennis ball after it’s been served up by a top player.

The entire journey takes just one minute to complete.

Le Smash Perrier is free, but it’s only available until 9PM on Sunday, June 11. Hours are 11AM – 9PM on Friday and Sunday, and 11AM – 5PM on Saturday.

For a chance to ride, you can enter a lottery to be one of the 100 people who experience the zip line every day. Enter the lottery at “Espace Perrier,” a tennis village on Champ de Mars that offers cocktails and screenings of the matches.
