E3 2017: Bridge the gap between movies & gaming with new immersive “Transference” VR game from Elijah Wood, Ubisoft, SpectreVistion

The screen glows in the darkness with “Transference” at its center, framed by dazzling vertical stripes of color above and below, setting a suspenseful tone reminiscent of a thrilling VR attraction introduced by Ubisoft at E3 2017.

Actor Elijah Wood, who is a fan of immersive experiences, collaborated with SpectreVision and Ubisoft to create a new virtual reality experience that bridges the gap between games and movies.

The trailer for Transference debuted at E3 2017 and it provided a glimpse into the mysterious world of the game. It invites players to explore the minds of a fractured family and navigate their dream-like home to discover secrets. Your choices within the game ripple through time and space to alter the lives of the family.

Transference is set to debut in Spring 2018 and will be available on PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, PS4, Xbox One, and PC — so it’s playable with or without virtual reality.
