Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort is expanding the retro-themed get-away with two new towers, bringing the the room total of the entire resort to a total of 2,200. One of the towers, Beachside, is now open to the public with the other tower, Bayside, scheduled to open some time next year.

The two new towers combined will add 400 additional guest rooms to the south end of the popular resort. Located at the end of the Continental and Americana buildings of Cabana Bay, many of the rooms in the new tower feature stellar views of the new Volcano Bay water park.

Guests stroll along a lush pathway lined with tropical plants, heading toward the striking glass tower of Cabana Bay’s newest expansion, where brand-new guest rooms await near Universal’s Volcano Bay.

The glass doors marked “BEACHSIDE” welcome guests to Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort, reflecting the buzz of Volcano Bay just steps away. Inside, a sleek chandelier hints at the mid-century modern rooms that await as part of the resort’s newest expansion.

The vibrant hallway, featuring bold patterned carpet, orange textured walls, and glowing round ceiling lights, invites guests toward the retro-styled guest rooms of Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort expansion—just steps from the thrills of Volcano Bay.

Standard rooms, like those found in the main buildings of the resort, are the vast majority of the rooms found in Beachside tower with 180 of them in total. The remaining 20 rooms are actually two-bedroom/two-bathroom suites that also provide a full-sized living area with kitchenette.
