The box for “The Thing: Infection at Outpost 31” board game recreates the chilling atmosphere of John Carpenter’s legendary film, with a snowbound outpost scene and cool blue palette—an immersive collectible that horror and movie fans will want to add to their home entertainment lineup this fall.

We often see our favorite horror movies come to life in the form of a haunted house or some other type of attraction. This October though, we are in for a very different type of experience. John Carpenter’s “The Thing” will hit the shelves in the form of… a board game!

Players will move around their antarctic base in an effort to eliminate the classic monster from the classic 1982 film.

Immersive theme park map styled as a thrilling snowy outpost, featuring clearly labeled adventure zones reminiscent of The Thing board game. Guests plot daring helicopter escapes, gather critical survival supplies, and complete themed missions for an interactive dice-driven experience packed with suspense and excitement.

The game will be available in stores and online this October and a limited edition of the game will be available at MondoTees.com. This edition will feature some different artwork and will be very exclusive as there will be only 1,982 copies available.
