What better way to celebrate National Wine Day than with a first look at the new Wine Bar George coming to Disney Springs?
Master Sommelier George Miliotes is curating a collection of featured wines for the bar, and his picks come from growing regions in the United States and abroad. The wine bar will serve over 100 varieties by the glass or bottle.
The space will feature warm lighting and a welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of an ‘Old World’ winery.
Wine is available on tap, and wine and cheese pairings will be offered if you want to share a bite at one of the communal tables. Other plates will include local, seasonal foods from the area.
Miliotes previously ran the beverage program at California Grill from 1995 – 2002. He returns to Disney as one of 236 worldwide industry professionals certified by the Court of Master Sommeliers, and Wine Bar George is the only bar in Florida led by a master sommelier.
Wine Bar George is scheduled to open in late 2017, so plan on spending the next National Wine Day there with a glass of your favorite vino.
