“Beauty and the Beast” continued its hot streak at the 2017 MTV Awards. This was the first year that gender neutral acting awards were handed out, and Emma Watson won Best Actor for her work as Belle. The film also picked up the top prize of night, Movie of the Year.

Host Adam Devine opened the show with a “Beauty and the Beast” parody featuring Josh Gad, who played LeFou in the film. Devine was already in full costume as the Beast when he shouted from stage, “I need a Belle!” Actress Hailee Steinfeld was ready to go, with Belle’s iconic dress on underneath her coat.
