BambiOn August 21st, 1942, Walt Disney’s landmark fifth animated feature “Bambi” opened in theaters to delighted audiences. And this year Disney is commemorating the 75th anniversary of the beloved movie by adding “Bambi” to its growing list of Walt Disney Signature Collection home video releases.

Bonus features on the new reissue of “Bambi” will include “recordings of Walt Disney discussing the challenges and triumphs during the [film’s] production; deleted scenes and characters; stories and effects that ‘Bambi’ had on the Studio, other films and artists; and much, much more.”
“Bambi: The Walt Disney Signature Collection” will arrive on Digital HD, Disney Movies Anywhere Tuesday, May 23rd. The DVD and Blu-Ray releases will follow two weeks later on June 6th.
