The Bachelor’s Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have announced their breakup. The couple met on Higgins’ 2016 season of the show and have been together since Bushnell received the final rose.
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce our decision to go our separate ways,” the couple said in a statement to People. “We feel fortunate for the time we had together, and will remain friends with much love and respect for one another. We wish nothing but the best for each other, and ask for your support and understanding at this time.”
Ironically, just over week ago the couple was seen on TV hosting the “Disney Fairy Tale Weddings” special that aired on Freeform on May 7. The special featured an inside look at what it was like to get married at a Disney destination.
